CFO Jimmy Patronis Launches First TV Ad
“First Responders” will be the first TV ad in CFO race

TALLAHASSEE, Fla.– Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Jimmy Patronis is launching his first TV ad, highlighting his strong leadership in the passage of legislation to provide mental health benefits for Florida’s first responders. The 30-second ad will begin airing over the weekend in a buy focused around college football. This commercial, titled “First Responders,” will be the first TV ad aired in the race for CFO.

Featured in the ad is powerful testimony from Megan Vila, the sister of a firefighter who tragically died by suicide; firefighter Captain Ricardo Vila; PTSD advocate Deborah Ortiz; and Governor Rick Scott. Speaking of CFO Patronis spearheading this critical change in law Ortiz says, “This legislation that Jimmy Patronis has fought for is going to save lives.”

CFO Jimmy Patronis has raised over $5.1 million since entering the race, maintaining a strong fundraising lead while receiving numerous endorsements from statewide leaders and prominent organizations including the Florida Police Chiefs Association and the Florida State Lodge Fraternal Order of Police.
